Jeff Leonard is the driving force behind Leonard & Martens, LLC and Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. in Anchorage, serving as Founder and Raymond James Registered Principal, respectively.  Jeff envisioned an independent firm that would provide the community an alternative to the conflicts and pressures inherent in relationships with traditional banks and brokerage firms.
 
Jeff got his start with Deloitte & Touche in 1993 after graduating from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a B.A. in Accounting.  He later left to become the chief financial officer for a privately held Alaskan company before launching his own independent firm in 1999.
 
Jeff was recently named one of Alaska's "Top 40 Under 40" – an honor awarded by the Alaska Journal of Commerce and the Anchorage Chamber to recognize outstanding career and community achievements by Alaskan business leaders under the age of 40.
 
Jeff is a current member of the Raymond James Leaders Council. Leaders Council honors are presented to select independent financial advisors around the nation who have demonstrated an extremely high level of commitment to clients through personal service and professional integrity.  Membership is based mainly on assets under management, education, credentials ans fiscal year production.  Re-qualification is required annually.
 
 He has been a featured speaker at national and regional industry conferences on various topics such as “Successful Practice Management Strategies” and “Strategies for Developing New Business, Increasing Production and Efficiency”.
 
Jeff currently serves on the board of directors of the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and is a trustee of the Symphony's Foundation. He also is an active member of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council, the Anchorage Downtown Rotary Club and the Alaska Society of CPAs.
